Falls Creek is about 20 miles South/Southeast of Anchorage. I happened to visit this day, just as the ice was beginning to develop interesting formations on this waterfall covered with logs. Next weekend, there was a cold snap and the creek was pretty much frozen in. Ice photography is all about timing, I have discovered.
