The casa de Julio Arboleda Pombo O´Donell was built for the poet Julio Arboleda Pombo (1817-1862) in 1839. Julio Arboleda Pombo was a poet, diplomat, politiician and soldier, but also a slave holder. Because of his military career, the house is also known as Casa Del Poeta Soldado.
