The Back Room is the debut studio album by British post-punk revival band Editors, released on 25 July 2005. It entered the UK Albums Chart at number 13 in July 2005, before peaking at number 2 in January 2006. The album was nominated for the 2006 Mercury Prize. (from Wikipedia) I remember that I've listened Editors for the first time when me and my then fiancé were on a bar in downtown Barcelona in 2005 and then on a tv screen they were projected. Immediately I recognized their quality. I bought this CD in October of that year in one of the now-extinct and then magnificent Virgin Megastore in Paris. The whole album is really great. We got married in April 2006 and then our intention was to continued our specialization in Paris starting in May. I remember hearing a lot this album along with others. Then I had some health issues that couldn't let us stay in Paris that year. At first I regret it all the time. But 10 years after we could return to Paris. "I still love the light on baby It keeps me awake but I don't mind Everything I ever wanted Is right here but soon it won't be Oh, if fortune favors the brave I am as poor as you come Well I've got a million things to say Well I've got a million things to..." youtu.be/69eao5bjxVQ
