We visited the Dzibilchaltún Mayan ruins on a shore excursion from the Mexican port of Progreso. The ruins are about 10 miles north of Merida. The Temple of the Seven Dolls is the most important monument at the site. The Temple got its name from the seven crude clay dolls placed beneath the floor of the early temple.
