Time for lunch. Heading to Cobás' biggest lunch buffet near it's lobby; The Kukulcan.

Grand Cobá Restaurant Buffet Kukulcan. Mayan Yucateca cook is making spaghettis' for Armando's selection of ingredients. They were very good. Kukulkan; In the Yucatec Maya kukul "feathered", combined with kan "snake" giving a literal meaning of "feathered snake". This God is obviously closely related to the deity Ququmatz (the names are almost the same even) of the Kʼicheʼ people and to Quetzalcoatl mythology of latest Aztec culture. Aztecs most have inherited this deity from previous Mayan culture same way Romans accepted (but changed names) to all Greek ones.
