A group of ceramic pieces were arranged around the body dressed in jade. Among traces of burned oil, scattered seeds, shells, stingray spines, and remnants of hematite, these plates, bowls, and vessels bear witness to the solemn burial ritual. Some of the vessels are incised on their outer surface and they spill a petrified resin. As for the plates, the largest with a red slip finish and simple incised design, was found in the south part of the tomb with a tipped vessel on it. The rest of them were placed beneath the sovereign's body after they were intentionally broken to release their symbolic charge.
