This is one of the oldest constructions at Becán and reaches an average heighth of 23 m above the level of the south plaza, which its most important facade faces. There are ten rooms in its upper part, reached by five entrances, each divided into three parts, which give the impression of really being fifteen. The constrcutive system of these rooms is of lesser quality than the eight rooms which were added to the level immediately below all of them, although they have not yet been explored. On the upper part of the towers, which are about 15 m high, four small openings were discovered, presently destroyed, which perhaps were used to make astronomical observations.
