It is almost certain that the leaders of prehispanic Becán inhabited some of the rooms of this group. There is a patio in the upper part formed by rooms on three sides; the majority of these rooms stil conserve their benches, used for testing and sleeping. Altough the structure was modified with different additions over time, particularly on its north side, there are some visable remains of the Rio Bec architecture. Among them are: the rounded corners, non-utilitarian stairways on the east and west sides, and panels of stylized masks as a complement to some of the facades. Some of the decorative elements reproduce imaginary beings and others combine feline and serpent characteristics.
