The constructive offerings served to commemorate the inauguration of a building, a monument, or the closing of a construction that would be covered by a new building. Probably the rituals of deposit of these objects have been public and the reason for a particular ceremony. They placed flint or obsidian tools, vases and bowls with food or shell and snail beads, or manufactured to burn incense. It was usual for vessels to be deposited broken or with a hole in the center, in order to prevent further use.
