20250329 El Apapacho

After another 15, 20 minutes, we arrived at the prized Paseo de Montejo where historical masons, top notch restaurants and shops conjugate. We stoped by El Apapacho for an early dinner. El Apapacho is an artsy, homey spot featuring homestyle Mexican cooking, art exhibits & a feminist bookstore. I had a simple vegetable curry dish with rice and beans. The cactus in the red curry is spectacular. I really love the flavor and texture of cactus. I wish there were more dishes like this in Seattle. Afterward we walked around to check out the glamorous masons lined up on the avenue. There were now converted to restaurants or event venue.
